Mr. Gurunat Gowda Rayana Gowdar is a respected agricultural practitioner and innovator with over 40 years of experience in sustainable farming, soil management, and education. A graduate of B.Sc. from Bangalore University, he has strengthened eld practices and research through his deep understanding of soil health and organic agriculture.
His leadership has been recognized with the Krishi Pandit Award from the Government of Karnataka. Beyond farming, he has contributed to rural education by helping establish a women’s college under the Shree Satya Sai Education Society, Dharwad, and has served as a Board Member at the University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad.
For four decades, Mr. Gowdar has been an integral part of the Nadakattin Advisory Board,providing critical guidance during research and product development. His practical insights and encouragement helped shape key implements like the Seed Drill, Rotavator, and MB Plough — ensuring they are robust, eld-relevant, and truly bene cial for farmers.
